50 years ago, lived most flood Zaragoza Ebro twentieth century. To mark this anniversary, the Ebro Environmental Center, located in building Europe, hosts until 5 June an exhibition of 80 images on this and other experienced floods in the city.
During the last three months, the exhibition organizers have been collecting and selecting pictures and collecting documentation, says Miguel Angel Sanchez, curator of the show, getting not only an exhibition, but a "research study."
The first images - not photos - dating from the first flood of documents that have graphics. It was in 1643 and the Ebro broke two arches of the stone bridge. The most recent, illustrated with snapshots of photographers JOURNAL OF ARAGON, as Chus Marchador or Angel de Castro, are the 2007 and 2008, which forced a change in plans opening of the Expo.
But the flood of 1961, which has led to the exposure, which are devoted half of the photographs, many of Michael Paris. Snapshots can go into the various facets of an event of this nature. They reflect the damage to fields, buildings and appliances, the cost in human lives, search and rescue tasks, the change in the course of the river, the formation of Juslibol Galacho, the eventful life of the Stone Bridge, the sort of facilities near the river bed as Helios or Boat, how to measure the flood, and even the attraction of the enormity of the flows on its way exercises over the city of Zaragoza.

The Ebro overwhelmed: a history of flooding of the river in Zaragoza as it is called the exhibition can be visited Tuesday through Saturday from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00 Sundays and public holidays 11.00 to 14.00.
