The singer Guillermo Bedoya Martínez, author of the song "Champion Peru, the Peruvian anthem that was Mexico in the World 70, died Wednesday morning at the clinic Maison de Sante.
The death occurred at 8:00 am, as a result of unfavorable and irreversible pulmonary fibrosis suffering.
"The French Society of Beneficence expresses condolences to family and friends, mourn the loss of music, the Creole and the national sport," said the statement released by that clinic.
Bedoya Martinez was also the frontman for "The Aces of Peru", famous in the 60 and 70.
born in Callao, 25 May 1933, and was the son of Leopoldo Bambarén Bedoya, celebrated composer and Dona Beatriz Martínez Paita.
Last week, the National Association of Authors and Composers (APDAYC), granted a disability pension in recognition of his musical contribution.
