Octopus "Iker" has predicted on Tuesday a victory for Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona (Wednesday, 21.30 hours). The squid, two meters and 16 kilograms, named in tribute to goalkeeper of the English football team, comes from the Pacific Ocean, and has participated in a peculiar club organized by the aquarium to determine the outcome of tomorrow's football classic.
Last week, "Iker" was correct in his prediction to choose a tie in the first of four games between the teams. The cridadores Sea Life Aquarium in Benalmadena (Malaga) put two tanks which were introduced two cylinders that housed two sardines and were identified with the shields of each team.
In the beginning, "Iker" floated for 15 minutes without selecting food, but eventually opted for the white set. This cephalopod won the last challenge and obtained the title of "Octopus Seer" to continue steps of "Paul", who died in October, Oberhausen (West Germany), after "predict" the same way the victory of Spain in the World Cup.
